Cibolo is a medium-sized city located in the state of Texas. With a population of 29,249 people and three constituent neighborhoods, Cibolo is the 164th largest community in Texas. Cibolo is part of an area known as the Metrocom, the Northeast corner of Bexar County and the Southwest corner of Guadalupe County. The sister cities of the Metrocom include Universal City, Schertz, Selma, Live Oak, Gardenridge, Converse and Kirby. In this area you will also find Randolph Air Force Base a major pilot training facility for the United States Air Force. Today, Cibolo is quite different from what it was in the early 1900s. Cibolo is home to a diverse group of people. As a result of the military base and Cibolo's location, many business and industries have located in the Cibolo area. Cibolo is now awakening to the challenges of the future. In fact, the housing industry has been booming in Cibolo for several years.
